Never in a thousand years did I think that we would be here! We feel so blessed with our three children, so thankful for what the Lord has given us, and so content in our every day lives. BUT..... God has lead us to this point! We have begun the process of adoption. The Lord has been stirring in our hearts since last summer. We commited this idea of adopting to the Lord last July, but with some big doubt on how He would actually bring our hearts together! After some serious stirring, a few anxiety attacks (probably way more than a few), and sooooooo much prayer...We have taken a step of faith! We feel that God has called us to obedience in this way. And truly, He has blessed us with excitement and peace. We look ahead and feel a bit overwhelmed: so much paper work, a financial number that we frankly don't have, the thought of a plane ride (for those of you who know me...I DON'T FLY!), and the list could go on and on! But we know that God is faithful! He provides peace beyond comprehension! And a love that we can't grasp! We know that all things work for the good of those that love Him. We are stepping forward in faith, trusting that God will open and close doors as He chooses and that He will receive all the glory for whatever is ahead!***Oh, and by the way, we are adopting a little boy from Ethiopia! Just looking at some wedding photos and saw your awesome news. WOW. You have my prayers that God will bring about what He has planted in your hearts as a seed. He will work out the details--we'll just watch it all happen.
