#11 (14 Days of Praise)

#11...Praise the Lord for his provision. I will admit it was the financial side of adoption that scared us the most. We just didn't have what it takes and in a 9 month time period. It really kept us from saying yes to adoption much earlier. About 2 weeks after we submitted our initial application and had already started our homestudy, I got a phone call. It was from someone that had heard we were adopting and wanted to help. They were feeling called to adoption in this way...to help other families with the financial side! I can't even begin to tell you how the Lord right then gave me a peace about this part of the adoption. I knew that adoption is what He had called us to, and He was going to provide everything we NEEDED! Everytime we have had a payment due (and I can tell you some of the bills are enormous!!!) the Lord has provided...through people, through extra jobs, through lifesong... I could go on and on. He not only has provided, but has always given us extra. It's my bread and fish story!
