Our court date is just 2 weeks away...it feels a little crazy! It's starting to set in..the idea of 4 kids, being a family of 6, traveling across that big deep ocean, the nerves of meeting our sweet boy for the first time, leaving my other 3 behind for a week, eating injera, and a million other emotions.... So I thought I would turn my eyes, once again, to Jesus... the author and perfecter of our faith. He truly has gone before us in this adoption journey. Has provided everything we have needed from our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
So, I am going to write a praise a day for 14 days (until our court date) on how the Lord has brought us through this past year.
#14.... Praise the Lord for our friends that adopted before us. He used them to stir our hearts toward adoption. And encouraged us to step out in faith and begin the process! Many that prayed with us and for us during the hard decision making!

Great idea. Just wait till you get your hands on your sweet boy. It'll be hard to imagine how your life was without him. Praying the day comes soon!

ReplyDeleteWhy did this post get me all teary eyed??? Great idea- love it. The Lord is so faithful. He's been there since the beginning and will take care of all your cares(even over the deep blue ocean.)We keep praying for sweet Tripp!
