Blog Worthy...

We had our day in court today. Our re-adoption day! Tripp has been legally ours since Feb.11th, so I really don't know why today was necessary, but it was. It has something to do with the state of Illinois requiring it (I think)! Anyway, it was fun...our moms joined us... it was quick...made me tear up for a bit...and then we had lunch! A good day.
***And for those of you wondering...We have officially been home for 3 months and life is great! I like being home and settled for 3 months. It's a great place to be. He speaks and understands almost everything. And yet still mixes words, has an accent, and stutters through some of his sentences...making us melt! He really just makes us laugh. He loves people (especially those that give him gum...wink wink!), he loves swimming and going off the diving board, and can pretty much do everything himself...."I do it" is what I hear all day long! He really just feels like he's always been here. Can't imagine life without him.
